The (PSP-240x)Talkman voice-activated translation software that is included can help you communicate with the people whom are using the native languages. Great for travel purpose especially when you want to order something or looking for the washroom or toilet in foreign territories.
Besides serving as a translator, Talkman is equppied with games to test your fluency of the languages.

Not much info is available on the PSP-S310 except that it will be available when the PSP Slim goes on sale in September 20th and will cost 6980 Yen ($ 58). The unit has an extendable antenna and is the same size as the PSP camera unit. Sadly the unit will work in Japan, as it is the only place where you get One-Seg terrestrial digital broadcasts. If only you can record TV content on the Memory Stick. I wonder what Nintendo has in store for the DS.
Sony continues to come out with some pretty cool stuff for the PSP, PSP-S360 and it looks like this PSP Cradle is a must for anyone that uses their Playstation Portable to watch movies. It would be especially handy for those in Japan that can get the 1seg TV signals, which is probably why this is unfortunately launching in Japan only, for now.The cradle docks the PSP and holds it upright so you don’t have to hold it or balance it against something to watch videos, and comes with an IR remote control so you can set back and control the playback without having to get up and press the little buttons on the PSP. The PSP Cradle will also charge the handheld device when plugged in and docked, and optionally comes with AV cables to hook up a bigger scren.
